In the month of December 2025, Microsoft Intune gets ACME protocol support for iOS/iPadOS and macOS enrollment. New Setup Assistant screens for iOS/iPadOS and macOS automated device enrollment profiles, and policy management for Microsoft Edge for Business as a secure enterprise browser.
The December 2025 Intune updates should be automatically rolled out to all the tenants across major regions such as APAC, NASA, and EMEA. In the Intune admin center, go to Tenant Administration and select the Tenant status tab to see the current service release of your tenant. ACME is supported for Apple Device Enrollment (BYOD), Apple Configurator enrollment, and automated device enrollment (ADE) methods. Eligible OS versions include:- iOS 16.0 or later
- iPadOS 16.1 or later
- macOS 13.1 or later
2. Secure enterprise browser managed by Intune (public preview)
Microsoft Intune now enables policy management for Microsoft Edge for Business, providing a secure enterprise browsing solution. With Intune, administrators can seamlessly shift from traditional Windows desktop environments to secure, browser-based workflows for accessing corporate resources—no device enrollment required.3.
