SOLVED Updating computers with sccm that are not at off campus

Hello,
So, I am trying to figure out how to get sccm configured and what else needs to be added to get our laptops that are off-campus to update from the deployment packages we have on sccm. We download updates on sccm wsus and then we test them and then deploy them to the computer fleet. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this for computers that are remote and is there a way to do this on computers that never come to local offices, like maybe a power shell that will set up remote computers with correct settings to get back to on-campus sccm and download updates. I hope I am explaining this right.

2 options i think :
1/ these computer can connect with VPN and you have to create boundary group based on ip address range to define mp and dp

2/ no VPN is deployed and you have to use IBCM (or Cloud management gateway) to permit clients to connect sccm remotely:
