PENDING Update to 2107 (+2107 Hotfix) - Device Online Status is offline

Hi, I have just recently updated to Configuration Manager 2107 and also installed the recent hotfix. All devices are now showing a Device Online Status of "offline" and the icon is greyed out with an "X". I had the same issue when updating to 2103 and updated the regsrvcs.exe.config and installutil.exe.config files which then allowed it to work. However I cannot reapply the same fix as it was already done in the past and still reflects in the files. The only change to the server between 2103 and 2107 is installing the .net 4.8 prerequisite. Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you updated the client agents to the latest version ?. The .NET framework 4.8 should not cause this issue as it is now the version recommended by Microsoft.

Yes our clients are already updated to .net 4.8. This is a very odd issue as I installed .net 4.8 on the server as a result of the prerequisite checks. I do not know how to get around this bug.

I have found the fix. Which is the same for an older issue. Once following the instructions the devices started showing up as online.
