PENDING Unmatched exit code (4) is considered an execution failure

Hi

I have been trying to install an Anti virus package which is a .exe file using this documentation http://prajwaldesai.com/community/threads/how-to-deploy-exe-via-sccm.70/
And unfortunately I am constantly seeing errors, past due to be retried. I looked in the appenforce.log file and see the error Unmatched exit code (4) is considered an exception failure.

Now I tried manually the setup.exe, I copied the file locally to a temp folder and from cmd prompt and in c:\temp location setup.exe /pEULA=1 /pKSN=1 /pINSTALLLEVEL=300 /pALLOWREBOOT=1 /s and that installed the anti virus package silently without any issues. So now I am confused how to actually progress, any thought would be good please. SCCM version 2012 running on Windows 2012 R2 and the client is Windows 10.

Exit code 4 translates to The system cannot open the file (http://prajwaldesai.com/description-of-windows-system-error-codes/). I guess the issue is related to the permissions. Maybe I have test the app deployment on my lab setup once. Is the setup up available as free download ?.

Hi

Unfortunately its not a free download. I zipped it up but unfortunately it is too big to be uploaded. My account is domain admins and used my domain admin account to create the application in sccm. I am also part of the security group which has full permissions.

I have logged onto domain laptop with domain admin creds

Where else can I have a look to see security context?
