Hello experts,

i am trying to clean up some distribution points. I tried to run contentlibrarycleanup.exe, after analyzing ot throws below error
System.InvalidOperationException: This content library cannot be cleaned up right now because package TM1002AB is not fully installed.
at Microsoft.ConfigurationManager.ContentLibraryCleanup.CLContentLibrary.LoadDistributedPackagesFromProvider()
at Microsoft.ConfigurationManager.ContentLibraryCleanup.CLContentLibrary.LoadValidContentData()
at Microsoft.ConfigurationManager.ContentLibraryCleanup.Program.Main(String[] args)

I checked for package in console i couldnt find it. I ran on another dp it throws similar error with different package name.

Any suggestions?

Regards

This is a known issue. When any package or deployment has failed, or is in progress, the tool might return the following error:
System.InvalidOperationException: This content library cannot be cleaned up right now because package <packageID> is not fully installed.

I am having this same issue. I have been walking through my Primary\DP and deleting the packages that show up in error like this and have been moving along nicely to the next package. Now I am at an "Application" that I removed that was old and it is still failing to move past even though it no longer exists in SCCM. Any ideas of what to do next?

Thanks,
Capt

Update...The package that I deleted yesterday that ContentLibraryCleanup would not move past now moved past it and is on to the next package. So, it must have needed time to summarize or something as I tried that yesterday and it wouldn't move past it but, now it does (For anyone asking this same question). So, be patient and try later as we all know SCCM can be a slow moving beast sometimes.

Thanks and love the site, keep up the good work,
Capt
