NEW SUP Catalog Version synchronization, difference between manuelly und scheduled sync

Dear Everybody,

I want to ask that is there any difference between manually or scheduled Catalog Version SUP sync?
Both of them do a Full sync with WSUS or something is different technically?

I've some problem in DMZ environment. There is always a big difference between Catalog Versions for DMZ SUP Server. Our provider always synchronize the SUP manually before our planned Patchday.

The symptom is, that a lot of Client not recognize the Patches in UpdatesDeployment.log
