Software Update Scan error Group policy settings were overwritten by a higher authority Error Code 0x87d00692

tried the below steps :
1.) deleted the Registry.pol and renamed the software distribution folder and restarted the Service but still issue persists
2.) Manually created the WSUS server in registry and started the service but it is still overridding by higher authority

I have a server on which the scan is working and updates are deploying

on some set of servers scan is not working

what are the steps to cross check on both the servers , what things we can verify on this ?

When you applied the GPO, did you check if that was updated on client machines ?.

Hey HArshit , i figured out the issue some machines there was another GPO with higher precendence so after removing that the GPO was updated and Scan worked as required.
