Hello all,
Maybe one of you can help me out with this!
At the moment we are trying to deploy Software Updates (Software Update Group) to a Windows 11 computer with a windows dialog notification instead of the little toast notification at the system clock. So the user can snooze the installation to install the updates another time till the deadline arrives.
We want the user to clearly see that there is update available and that they can choose when to install it. The little toast notification is to small en they are not noticing it.
All the settings are in place in client settings, deployment settings and windows 11(focus assist, quiet hours) etc.
It already works with a application deployment but with software update it doesn't. Do you guys know if it even possible with software update deployments to show a windows dialog in the middle of the screen?
Because when you deploy a software update group you cannot choose for the option "when software changes are required, show a dialog window to the user instead of a toast notification". With software update deployment this option is not available.
With a application you can choose to enable this setting, with software update deployment this option is not available:

When we deploy a application we immediately get this notification:

When we deploy a software update group we get a toast notification at first. When we click on it, the dialog above is opened.

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Richard
