Hello,
We would like a solution to the unclear status and random deployment of software and image via SCCM 2012 R2.
We now use one site with 300 clients. Software deployment occurs randomly en Slow. We therefore do not know which PC / groups of PCs, SCCM just starts first and when everything is actually rolled out.
The client center for configuration and the SCCM interface status deployment do not offer reliable outcome. Either the CMtrace logs are not clear. Now we must trust in client center for configuration and push software after they fail. This does not always work.
Polling client settings is set on 5 minutes, Advertisement on 24 hours before the day of deployment (deadline). Furthermore SCCM IIS limit bandwidth usage is off. The virtual server has 12 GB of memory.
Image rollout is the same story. Within the task sequence the software does not / correctly rolled out.
However, it is specifically stated that the task sequence was rolled out successfully. This often is not right. Firefox is rolled out but does not work, or is not installed at all.
What is for above the best solution ? I'm thinking of creating more SITE's and installing SCOM ??
If this is true, what are the benefits? What should we look out for a better performance and monitoring for Software and image deployment?
Thanks a Lot
Kind Regards,
Alta
