Hi, I am hoping someone may know this. I haven't been able to find a solid answer via sccm docs or web searches.
When using software center on a PC either through the software center application or using IE to browse to the software center web-service URL, when you click 'Install' on an application to be installed on that PC, who communicates to who first? Does the server *initiate* the communication of the install *to* the client first? Or does software center kick the *client* components to communicate first, i.e. perform a software check cycle.
I am involved with developing a custom integration application with SCCM and knowing what operation happens *first* when an application is selected to be installed will be key to the development path we take.
Thank you very much!
