PENDING Slow Software Update Sync Following SQL upgrade

Recently we upgraded from SQL 2012 to SQL 2017. Ever since we have found that the Software Update Point Synchronization is now taking 1 hour 45 minutes to sync in the console from Microsoft Update and then show as completed, in the WSUS console though it is showing as finished in minutes.

Has anyone seen this before?

The SUP sync is usually slow when you sync it for the first time. It is also slow when you add more categories/classifications. Can you run the Sync again and confirm the delay?.
