PENDING Skype for business client update through SCCM 2012 R2

I have deployed lync to Skype, but some systems are not getting updated

deployment status is "compliant"

When checking the Report of that deployment it says "update not required"

Later when I checked the status is unknown (client check pass/active)

When installing the same patch manually its getting installed

Please assist

Are you talking about Lync to Skype for business upgrade ?. What is the patch KB number ?. Most of the time the issues are related to a wrong detection method. on the clients where the patch is failing check the AppEnforce.log

Tried creating an application and deployed it on one system for testing this is the log created(Attached)

Tried restarting still no luck,
KB : kb3039779

Tried installing this patch manually by coping it, Lync got upgraded to Skype but unable to do via SCCM

Unmatched exit code (17022) is considered an execution failure.
Success: Reboot flag set = 17022 (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179058(v=office.14).aspx)
Could you reboot the machine and then try the patch deployment ?.

rebooted the system nearly 5 time still no good

first we tried deploying it in a normal way as we deploy the security pacthed, when that did not work, tried creating the application and deployed
