SOLVED Side by Side migration from 2012R2 to Current Branch

Hi Guys

Im fairly new to SCCM but I would like to upgrade the environment from 2012R2 to Current branch. Currently have CAS with 2 primaries. I would like to cut out the CAS and only have 1 Primary as I dont see the need for the CAS. We are currently on 2008R2 on both Server and SQL. Is the best action build out SQL 2012 and Server 2012 and do a side by side migration? Seems pretty complex anyone know some good documentation or step by step?

Hi araimondi,

You can create a separate platform with new Site Code SCCM (Primary site standalone) and you start a side by side migration.
You can use Server 2016 and SQL 2016 if you want.
