SOLVED Setup cannot create the required database tables contact your sql server administrator

Hi Prajwal,

I'm getting error 'Setup cannot create the required database tables contact your sql server administrator, while installing sccm 1802 and endup with incomeplete installation.

Below are my SCCM lab setup details

1. SCCM 1802 -express version (180 days trial version).
2. Sql Server 2017 with cumulative update.

Please assist me on this.

Re-install the SQL server and then install SCCM 1802. Let me know if that works

I have same issue but my lab setup is different.
Sccm 1903 evaluation 180 days
SQL server 2k16 sp2
