Hi dear people
Would love your help with an issue I'm having.
Yesterday I started a site upgrade from 2107 to 2207 which is still stuck until now on Post Installation - Updating Configuration Manger Client Preproduction Package.
After checks, Site is completly upgraded to 2207, including console, and the update status says "Installed"
The only thing that didnt change is in the Hierarchy Settings under the Client Upgrade , it still display the old version 2107 - 5.00.9040.1015
instead of 2207 - 5.0.9088.100X
This is the Highlights i found in the hman.log that i think are relevant to the issue (full log also attached to the post) -
Loaded client upgrade settings from DB successfully. FullClientPackageID=CAG00002, StagingClientPackageID=CAG00053, ClientUpgradePackageID=CAG00003, PilotingUpgradePackageID=CAG00054, ClientUpgradeAdvertisementID=CAG20000, ClientPilotingAdvertisementID=CAG200B9
ERROR: Failed to get the package object for package CAG00054.
ERROR: Failed to update package content for CAG00054.
Handle client piloting configuration changes
Client piloting enable state = 1
Error: couldn't find package program from id 'CAG00054'
WARN: Detected the client upgrade program doesn't exists. Will recreate it and the offer.
WARN: Detected the piloting client upgrade package (ID=CAG00054) doesn't exists. Will recreate it and the program/offer.
INFO: Recreating missing objects related to client upgrade.
INFO: Successfully created client upgrade program with command line ccmsetup.exe /AutoUpgrade.
INFO: Successfully created client piloting upgrade package (ID=CAG0296B).
Warn: couldn't find the client piloting offer from offer ID 'CAG200B9'.
So this is where i need your help ,it looks like im missing the piloting package, and this is was it stuck on the post install stage.
I cant find CAG00054 anywhere, and im afraid it was deleted somewhere in the past 2 years since i've checkd old logs and it didnt have the same error.
I think this is because at the beginig of the upgrade i chose To promote first to a pre production client (best practice)
and now becuase the package is missing, this stage cannot continue and i cant even promote since it greyed out.
Site is working normally the only thing is that the clients didnt get the latest version.
I would appriciate any help with this on how to restore the package or any suggestion you might have.
