I've found myself in the unfortunate position of having to reinstall an SCCM Primary site for a customer due to some unfortunate circumstances. Just for information, this SCCM Primary site had an MP/DP in a foreign domain as well.

I've uninstalled SCCM using the setup.exe, and the SCCM Client, however found that that the Microsoft Configuration Manager folder under C:\Program Files still existed and had quite a bit of content in there. the SMS_CCM folder in C:\Program Files still existed to. Additionally the SMS_Notification_Server Service was still showing in Services, as was the SMS Agent Host service.

I've reinstalled both IIS and WSUS as a precaution, however am finding that when running through the installer, the PreReq check is throwing an error and failing due on "Existing Configuration Manager Server components on Site Server."

I've gone through the registry and other than items for SCOM, there is nothing in the SMS Reg Key.

I can't work out what component may still be running from the previous site, and I would really much prefer not to have to rebuilt the entire server.

Any help is appreciated.
