Hello together,
I've some problems to understand the licensing for SCCM.
I will try to get a charity License over my company.
There are 16 Core license und 2 Core.
What did I really need ?
I want to use it at home (noncommercial) for testing but with all features.
I virtualise Bare Metal with ESXi 7.0
The Hardware ist not the latest but ok:
2x intel Xeon E5-2670(octacore) = 16 Physical Cores, 32 Virtual Cores (with Hyperthreading).
Did I really need the 16 Core Datacenter License ?
The Standard version Supports just 2 VMs per Server.
Is it stackable ?
Could I use multiple 16 core Standard System Center license for the same Server ?
It sounds stupid, but the 16 core System Center Datacenter Charity cost 2.050,20 € (im from Germany). The Standard System Center 16 Core Charity cost 16€
i have 5 Win-Server (3x DC, 1xExchange,1xSCCM), 3x Standard System Center for 6 VMs = 48€ instead of 2050€.
But I think it is to beautiful to be real.
