So I am testing imaging in a lab environment with machines that get redeployed to make sure they work with what we currently use. I have seen a couple of times now that a computer that has been imaged in the lab environment removed from that domain and add to production are randomly reimaging. Not sure how this is happening. To run the task sequence you need a password for pxe, and only the Tech team has it.

Looking at the computer, it seems to be just reapplying the os and no programs from the image job. Has anyone seen this happen before? The lab domain is not accessible from the outside, so I am not sure on how this is going on. Are there any logs I should be looking at?

First thing, without deploying the TS to collection, it won't start. So check what TS is deployed to All unknown computers collection or other collections. The TS cannot bypass the password step, it has to be entered by IT guy to proceed. So you can check with IT team on who is entering the pass for TS. Could you also check what DP is associated with the boundary group where the imaging is happening.
