Hello Everyone. I had a question regarding SCCM 1906 and client push through the console. The issue I am having is when I try sending out the client using the console it tries using the FQDN as example \\CARDIO1900.cardio.chboston.org\admin$ and it fails because that is no a valid DNS and there is no way for us to fix this but I can connect to the admin share using \\CARDIO1900\ADMIN$. Is there a way to make SCCM to only use the COMPUTER NAME? I am not sure where to do this if so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

may be you must first look to sort the issue where you cannot resolve the computer name. If the SCCM cannot reach the client computer, it cannot install the agent. And when you say there is no valid DNS, are you not running DNS server in your setup ?.
