PENDING SCCM application Update content

Hi all

If deployed an app to 700 users and got another 1000 to go next week.

I need to make a slight change to a config file in the source package. If
I go to update content will it apply to the previous 700 machines by reinstalling the app? Ideally, don’t want to touch the past installs.

Hi mels_101,

If you specify the existence of the application with a code or entry in registry key when you create the application, you can do this without reinstalling the application again on the previous machines.
