PENDING SCCM 2012 SP2 to SCCM 1606 Upgrade

Hello, I am trying to upgrade my SCCM 2012 SP2 to SCCM 1606 (as we have licensing for this). But I am unable to download the prerequisite files.

Reading the ConfigMgrSetup logs, it looks like it is failing trying to access the microsoft urls. The websites are no longer accessible. Is there a way I can get these prerequisite files? Or is there an alternative method to accessing these prerequisite files?

Why are you trying to go with such and old version of CM, Why not go to the lest version?

I know someone reported this issue recently. Did you try downloading the prerequisite files offline - https://www.prajwaldesai.com/download-sccm-prerequisite-files-offline/
If you still see the same issue, you may have to contact Microsoft support for this.
