Hi Everyone,

I got another Issue during implementing OS Deployment over PXE Boot in an HTTPS Secured Environment.

The Error Message is calling:
Task Sequence: Windows 10 Deployment has failed with the error Code (0x80070002)

In the SMSTS.log from the Server i could find the following Warning-Message:
Warning: SMSTSCertStoreName Not Set. This might cause Client failures in native mode.

How do i get the right Cert in the Task Sequence? Do you have an HowTo for that?

Thanks.

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel, could you attach smsts.log file and error screenshot if possible?. May i know at what step is it failing ?. For example before applying drivers, OS image etc ..

Hi Prajwal,

I could solve the Issue.

It was not the Certificate itself. It was a Step at the Task Sequence, that failed.
I wanted to change the Computername by selecting the SerialNumber.
This Goal i wanted to reach by using a Powershell Script and this Script failed.

Now i am using the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Package and change the Computername this way.

The OS Deployment runs now successfull.. :-)

Thanks.

Regards,

Daniel
