Hi
I am trying to capture a reference image after removing windows 10 apps that were preventing sysprep from working. it now syspreps and reboots into winpe and starts capturing 1 of 3 volumes, then when it goes to scanning volume 2 of three it crashes with error 0x80070490.

any ideas

I have been trying repeatedly to get the image captured now i am getting different error the generic 0x80070005 when it gets stuck
capturing reference image. it captures volume 1 of 3 then goes onto scanning volume 2 of 3 and stays on it for about 5 mins then i get the error.
I have seen in the panther folder that sysprep is completing successfully.
I have followed that link also. I syspreped manually, shutdown. Ran the capture as described in link. Same issue happens scanning volume 2 0f 3 and stays on that then comes up with same error 0x80070005 and restarts.
Ive been imaging machines past few yrs and never had any issues like this ruining my weekend it is and week! ha
I have SCCM 1702 installed recently upgraded. with ADK 1703. Do you think it would be helpful to upgrade to Sccm 1706?
The vm i am capturing from does have a small boot partition, then os partition abd small reserved partition.
Any ideas? pls help

Thank you..

The image i am trying to capture was on the domain when apps where being installed. IT was unjoined and domain accounts deleted, is there anything that could be messing up the capture from its previous domain membership. I have since imaged 2 other images for staff that were not domain joined and they worked fine. But i need to image approx 200 machines with this image i cannot get captured. Any help is appreciated.

thanks
