Hi All,

Pulling my hair out the past few days working out why PXE is failing with SCCM 1702 and Hot fox rollup (KB4019926).

First I would like to mention everything was working perfectly for weeks after the base build. PXE pretty much worked immediately and across VLANs with IP Helper.

Today after a SCCM primary site server reboot, it seems the DP isn't offering boot roms any more.

SMSPXE.log shows no new entries since the reboot. PXE clients requests are simply ignored it seems.

I have my DP on the primary site with PXE enabled. I have since removed the PXE tick, rebooted and reconfigured.

I have updated DP with default boot rooms both x64 and x86. "Deploy this boot image from PXE-enabled DP" ticked for both roms and both have been enabled for command support.

Booting off iso (VM guest) or USB media works fine and task sequences work as they did with PXE for weeks prior to today.

I see many mentions of WDS service for SCCM 2012 which I don't have installed on my primary site server. Unless this was removed for some reason without my knowledge.

Is WDS required for SCCM 1702 PXE on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard?

Again SMSPXE.log shows no errors or new entries.
