SOLVED Scan failed with error = 0x80244019

Hello Guys !

I have installed SCCM 1902. In which my software update scan getting failed. below is the error code from Wuahandler.log

Scan failed with error = 0x80244019

Also i have checked sus location with the help of locationservice.log it was correct as i configured. Ports are also open.

0x80244019 = Same as HTTP status 404 - the server cannot find the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier).

So check FIrewalls, proxy servers, DNS, etc.

What about Proxy? Did you test the connection using the local system account to confirm it can access the link. Are you really using port 80 vs 8530?

Proxy is not there.

Also tried with 8530. Then its showing GPO error as below.

How exactly did you setup WSUS, 8530 has been the default port for a while.

0x87d00692 = Group policy conflict

So why set this with a GPO at all?

yes, it is a default one. I have also tried with without GPO but not helped out.

Tell me one thing when i brows Brows*:8530 (http) from IIS console i am getting screen with web.config and when i click to web.config it show HTTP error 404. So my question is that i have missed to configure anything in IIS ???

First remove the GPO, let SCCM set this.
Second there is nothing that you should set in IIS with respect to the ports.
Third make sure that SCCM is using 8530 and not 80.

The logs above clearly show that you are using port 80. I'm under the impression that you are using 8530, so post a screenshot of exactly which port you are using.

Hello !

I think issue is resolved now, coz now i am getting the compliance count in all software update. If i m not wrong, it means some machines successfully completed scan. But i dont pushed any software update yet.

When i checked for ports in IIS and WSUS console it was correctly configured to 8530. But when i checked to software update point role properties in SCCM console, i found 80 and 443 port were configured by default,so i changed to 8530 for http and 8531 for https. After that i ran synchronization then after some time result start to come in console.

Thanks for pointing me towards port configuration.
Will post update after pushing software updates.
