NEW Reports shows "No items found."

I seem to have lost my reports. When I browse to Reporting > Reports, "No items found" is displayed in the right pane. The last time I remember being able to run a report from the console is about four or five weeks ago, so I'm not sure what changes may have happened between then and now to cause my problem. SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT component is in OK status. I have tried going to http://dbserver/Reports and http://dbserver/ReportServer but both just return HTTP Error 404. I looked at IIS on the DB server and don't see anything listed under Default Web Site so I'm concerned something is lost. Odd thing is I have a report scheduled to email me every morning which is still working so I have hope that not all is lost. I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting this. Please help!
 
First always make sure that you can access the reports and run them from the SSRS website. If you can't it will NEVER work in the console.

Next make sure that port 80/443 is open.
Then make sure that the cert is valid. if you have one.
 
I figured out that the SSRS web reporting works when I use the FQDN of the reporting/DB server. I'll work through the link you provided to try and come to a solution.
