Hi Peeps

Does it give any problems, to remove the Cache size from the "Client Settings" and set it in the Task Sequence instead ?

My problem is, that i can't extend the size, when it's set by the client settings.

You can modify the cache size using client setting, create a new client setting and deploy it.
Else you can go with creating TS or Package
. But client settings I would prefer
Hey Andy,
Per the documentation at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/me...s/deploy/about-client-installation-properties
Client settings are available for specifying the client cache folder size. The addition of those client settings effectively replaces using SMSCACHESIZE as a client.msi property to specify the size of the client cache.
I imagine you could set the caches size using PowerShell in the TS, or increase the size of the cache in client settings and use the max cache size (percentage of disk) to adjust for smaller hard drives.
