Hello,
I'm looking for advices.
My SCCM hierarchy consists in 1 primary site with 3 servers for 2500 clients in 1 location :
  • 1 site server with DB, SUP, EP, MP and DP roles.
  • 1 DP for package and software updates deployment.
  • 1 DP with PXE for OSD.
Due to a recent merger/acquisition, the admins set up a bidirectional trust relationship between the 2 domains and I'd like to manage the 1000 computers of this new branch. The network bandwidth between the 2 is 100 mb/s.
What do you recommend in a situation like this :
  1. (I don't think it is relevant here but) CAS ?
  2. Stick with 1 primary site ? Add a local DP ? MP ? SUP ? etc...
  3. Add a secondary site ? With DP ? MP ? SUP ?
My preference would be 2 to keep the hierarchy as simple as possible but will a DP suffice ? Or do I have to set up another MP, another SUP and another SMS Provider to limit the network trafic ?
Other advices regarding PullDP ? Branchcache ? binary replication ? LEDBAT ? etc...
Thanks in advance !

I think a normal DP is sufficient to your need, so, the content will be downloaded from the site server.
