Hello All!

Why is an error displayed in the monitoring tab of SCCM during deployment even though the application is installed and the error has a "success" error code (0x0 error code). Those errors affect online machines as well and haven't change for all weeks. After some time few machine went to green compliant status, but dozens are still successfully "failed".

Despite of error code, apps are installed on machines and work fine. I have tried reset policies, reinstalling SCCM agents and all standard troubleshooting. There are no failed components or sites errors in SCCM.

Furthermore, SCCM packages and software updates like Cumulative, Offices etc. are being reported fine. There is problem with apps only, almost most of created ones.

Please see screenshot attached.

SCCM version 2309

Console version 5.2309.1113.1900

Site version 5.0.9122.1000

I just spotted this on the latest hotfix for 2503, KB32851084, looks like it resolves the issue:
"Deployment status reporting and summarization are updated to more accurately reflect the correct count of success or error conditions."

I had high hopes on this one as well ...
We installed it on 16.10. and some of the new created applications work just fine .. but still not all...

Some still show one-digit success percentages, both existing an freshly created Application deployments.

The actuall errors however became different.
It's not anymore "Error 0x0 Success" everywhere, but now:

57 Assets "Already Compliant - Error 0X87D0027C - CI Documents download timed out"
1 Asset "Already Compliant - Error 0X87D00314 - CI Version Info timed out"
43 Assets "Evaluation failed - Error 0X87D0027C - CI Documents download timed out"
1 Asset "Evaluation failed - Error 0X87D00314 - CI Version Info timed out"
1 Asset "Evaluation failed - Error 0X87D00316 - CI Agent Job was cancelled"
20 Assets "Sucess - Error 0X87D0027C - CI Documents download timed out"

...all of the above are shown as "Error" but have in fact installed the application just fine.

All the "Software Update" deployments created by an ADR (e.g. Edge, Office, or Windows Updates) are working well, only Applications seem to be affected.

Thank you for sharing your experience, I will also update at the end of the week and revert to share my results.
