Hello,

I have an SCCM server that does the OSD. I deployed Windows 10, version 1709 using MDT UDI. The whole deployment is going well but only it takes a lot of time, 3 hours of the time. However, on an MDT server that is not integrated with the SCCM, the deployment takes 20 to 30 minutes.

What would be the problem? How to reduce this time?

You need to examine the TS and each step to find out what's causing delay. What else are you deploying along with OS ?.

Check your boundary settings. Check to see if there is a DP in your current subnet that is available and functioning and that you are not pulling content from another DP that is in a different subnet/boundary

Hello,

Now the OSD takes just 1 hour and 20 minutes instead of 3 hours.
My version of SCCM is 1806 and I deploy Windows 10 1809.

I just updated the ADK:
  • Uninstalled the older version of ADK manually (former version : adk for windows 10 version 1703)
  • After uninstallation, I restarted the server.
  • Install ADK again (new version : adk for windows 10, version 1809): adksetup.exe and adkwinpesetup.exe
  • After installing ADK, I restarted the server again
  • I launched the SCCM console
  • Then go to: Software Libraries => Overview => Boot image
  • Select Boot image (x64), right click and click Update Distribution Points
