Hello,

Making good progress with SCCM and Endpoint with thanks to these guides.

I'm in a situation where Endpoint is being deployed to the clients through Group Policy but it's always red and doesn't get it's updates. If I click update it does update but this is using the Internet and not a distribution point.

Yesterday, being a bit hasty - I used the netlogon share for the location of the definition deployment package. I've now seen the amount of updates that are in there and realised they would be better of somewhere else. I removed the groups and basically re-followed the instructions again but this time, I don't have the deployment package option?

Why is it not there? Do I need to change the location somewhere else?

Screenshot attached to show what I see.

Thanks very much in advance for any help.

I've worked it out now - although I had deleted the Software Update Group and re followed the instructions, I needed to also delete the existing Deployment Package. Once I did this, the next time I went to deploy, I had the deployment option package in there.
