Hi guys , first time posting here so hopfully it goes well

I just wanted some advise or best practice on manage multiple .wim boot image.wim files for example SMSImage\RTH00037.wim then after an update of the WinPE x64 bootimage to the dp it will sometimes multiply and end up with RTH0037.RTH0037.wim and then before you know it its RTH0037.RTH0037.RTH0037.wim and can keep going, is this normal and how do i manage the duplicate files , can i delete the original files, or delete the old copies and trim down the new versions also whats with the size increase of each copy even though i didnt add many drivers or do much to the boot image it started at 200mb and has grown to 500mb even though ive gutted the ammount of drivers i added to the .wim, hope this makes sence

thank you in advance

You need to check the properties of your boot file in the console and check the path to the source to see which one is being used before you do anything with the duplicates
