Hello,
I've been lucky enough to have inherited SCCM administration in my new role however the environment is less than ideal..
Currently the configuration is the primary site server running 2008 OS level with SCCM 2012 R2 SP2 (Build 8239) connected to a remote SQL 2016 DB server, there are multiple distribution points and all clients are on Windows 8/10.
My task is to upgrade SCCM to the latest CB and so my question to everyone here is what do you think the method with least resistance will be? I assume a side-by-side migration over to a new server running the latest CB and then migrate all the boundary groups etc afterwards will be far easier than attempting to in-place the system and OS?
