Hi All,

I've deployed MeCM to a client and I'm wondering how the licencing now works for this. Currently, Microsoft state that when you have Intune (Customer has M365E3) you get MeCM with it. I've set up the co-management of the MeCM instance but I've seen no change in licencing. I'm unsure if I've misinterpreted whether this is only for user CAL's or whether it's for the full licence.

Secondary to this, how does the SQL instance then get licenced since previously this was via SCCM.

Update;
I spoke to Volume Licensing, and they were unable to assist (They advised we'd have to reinstall SQL and CM). I then logged a support case with the 365 teams and after a few days ended up with the billing team.

Moving forward, Microsoft is using static keys for MeCM and SQL instances that are tied to a tenant with 365. At this stage, the only way to get these keys is to log a case with the billing team when Intune is purchased so that they can confirm entitlement.
