I'm trying to figure out why I can't manually run Windows Update on a Windows Server 2016 that has a GPO pointed to my SCCM server CB. When I run Windows Update, I get an Update Status, "Your device is up to date. Last checked: Today's date". I manually ran the Windows Update last Wednesday, 01/13. Checking SCCM Software Update, I can see that there are Updates for Windows Server 2016 and Required. But, letting SCCM handle the update push, I can see that the updates were installed this morning - per scheduled on Windows Maintenance.
Am I not able to manually run Windows Update and receive them from SCCM like I would when the GPO were pointed to the WSUS server?
