SOLVED IP Address and Domain is changed just before to run Task Sequence

Hi All,

I am deploying OS using WDS integrating with MDT, meanwhile I encountered with an issue. Due to that it was unable to deploy OS successfully.

Issue Description:

: During PXE boot it is able to get the IP address from the DHCP server as shown below.



: It displays boot media to select correctly as well.



: After selecting the boot media, it enters into MDT zone there I see ip address and domain changes automatically to 'localdomain' as shown below.



I tried my best to get it connected with proper domain and dhcp server at this stage but I failed to do so.


Could you guys help me to resolve the issue?

I see that your DHCP IP is 192.168.100.xx range, while your client is taking the 192.168.3.xx range. So its taking the IP from a different network. Are you deploying this via VMware workstation ?.

Yes Prajwal, I am deploying this via VMware workstation. Could you please suggest me what steps do I have to perform to fix it.

You just need to set the same network adapter that you have used for MDT VM. I mean both the network adapters should be same for both VM's.

I set same network adapter for all VM's and it worked.
