We began testing in-place upgrades of our 2016/2019 SCCM Servers. So far so good for DP and MP servers but was curious if anyone had suggestions for a Report Server? For the DP, we did not remove the component due to the amount of content and had no issues. For the MP, we removed the WSUS role and MP/SUP from SCCM and reinstalled after as recommended by Microsoft.
Just curious if I could perform the upgrade on the Reporting Server while leaving things as they are from an SCCM perspective. It's a test environment so we will be taking a snapshot before we start and could rollback if needed.
