Hi!!
Starting Install enforcement...?
Just read the whole article twice. I appreciate all the information. I am new to SCCM, so any new information is like a God Send... I have a situation where I need your help. There are a bunch of apps being installed on client machines, also in the mix are Windows Updates and security packages. One such app is the Java Update which was pushed out last week about 5 days ago by another of the techs., and now I am trying to push Acrobat Pro. Some of the apps are taking their sweet time, due to slow networks and user intervention or non-intervention, and the last one is the Java update which was deployed by one of the other team members, but it is holding everything in the AppEnforce logs it shows that it is waiting to be installed...... This is not letting me install the Acrobat Pro... Is there a way to make Acrobat Pro supersede all other applications and install first as a priority? We are 5 people, and each has a task, independent of each other, so things are kind of a chaos, but there is nothing that can be done about it... My app Acrobat Pro is essential for a project all the Clients need to embark upon, and what's holding everything up are just Normal Product/app updates.... so is there a way I can bypass all else and get the Acrobat to install first? I would like to cla0rify that this is already pushed out, so task seq. may not be a viable option. Is there something I can run /cmd/do to bring up the Install priority of Acrobat Pro at the top?

Angelo,
Thank you for the pointer, but I have a little different issue. If I was the only one pushing out apps/updates, I would certainly follow the examples you gave set priorities, but as I had stated I am not the only one in the environment. I did not even create the environment, so this is the issue. 3 guys including me are responsible for different apps/updates. I pushed out Acrobat Pro this week, but one of the other guys had pushed java update last week, and that is hanging, because of that my app is not getting installed. " Waiting to be installed" I am asking if there is a way I can prioritize my app that has already been pushed to come on top and install. There has to be a script/Powershell or something that I can use on the clients to give priority to one of the apps waiting to be installed. Right?

??
Let me explain a little further. Java has been pushed to a collection. Also Acrobat Reader has been pushed to the same collection. Java is Not installing or is in the "Waiting to Install" mode, and because of this (maybe) The Acrobat push is also on hold or in waiting. Is there a way a command/Powershell magic, on the Client/Server side that would make the Acrobat install even though the Java is still in "Waiting" stage. Remember Java was pushed earlier than the Acrobat.
