We have are having problems with installing HP Pro Desk 400 G6 computers. Drivers have been downloaded from the HP website and added to the boot image. After the boot image was downloaded, the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit background, but the Task Sequence wizard doesn't appear.

When we create a task sequence media, installation works ... so although we added the network driver, it looks to be a network driver problem.

I attached the smsts.log file.

Any ideas to resolve this problem?

Hi @bhethcote

in the Windows Deployment Toolkit environment, the device isn't getting an IP adress.

The DP is local and works with other devices, the problem is specific to this model.

Thanks @Loïc Hustinx
If the machine is not getting an IP address in WinPE, I'd look at the networking drivers included in the boot image. It sure sounds like there's one missing.

Thanks for your response! I just started a case.

When googling for solutions I noticed there are quite a few topics about PXE problems wit the I219-LM network card.
Hey

Did you manage to get a resolution to this issue, as i'm having the same issue. I'm trying to image a HP Prodesk Desktop mini and the task sequence doesn't run, reboots on applying network drivers. I've injected the network drivers to the boot image. I219-LM is the network card.

Any ideas how to image this device?
