Hello All,
I have a general question about deploying some device drivers. I am working in an environment that has a number of Dell Latitude Device Drivers, and the issue that I face is that if I get the ENTIRE device driver .CAB file from Dell, and try to create a package, insert it into my task sequence, then it balks and the TS actually will not advertise to the clients. If I remove that step with the package, then my TS works fine, but I end up missing some critical drivers (video, chipset). My question is:
1. Could it be because the driver package is too big? <Roughly 14GB when I checked>
2. Did I just have a corrupt package and just recreating it might do the trick?
3. What is the best practice when you need to deploy a fairly large number of drivers.
The environment is 1 DP at present, running SCCM CB 1802. Thanks in advance for any tips.
