Hello guys,

I have upgrade sccm to 2107 and now i have issues with the sccm client and MP.
I receive these erros.

Failed to verify signature of message received from MP using name - Certificate maintenance.log , im in HTTP no PKI

The client failed to download policy. The data transfer service returned "BITS error: 'HTTP status 404: The requested URL does not exist on the server.
' Context: 'The error occurred while the remote file was being processed.
'" (-2147024894).

I recently dealt with the same error where in I had to repair the MP role. Before I suggest the same, can you confirm if the MP component shows healthy under Monitoring.

Hello Prajwal

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I recently Updates and Servicing on my SCCM environment. I am currently at Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager 2103, 5.00.9049.1000 and Client Version 5.00.9049.1010.

The trouble I am having is similar to above as reported by rem2k. The experience I am seeing is that when I deploy updates most computers are remaining in Unknown status of the deployment as Client Check passed/Active with some moving on to either In Progress or Compliant.

Some of the devices seem to actually be installing the updates but aren't reporting as such.

All components under \Monitoring\Overview\System Status\Site Status and Component Status show as Ok with SMS_ISVUpdates_SyncAgent showing as a warning but that is related to my Adobe Catalog.

Any suggestions? Is the answer here to update to 2103 Hotfix Rollup or newer?

Error:

I have been working slowly with Microsoft on this and we may have found a cause of my errors, the engineer is reporting that there is a Deployment ID mentioned in the DataTransferService Log and I am unable to find it in Deployments in the SCCM Console. More to follow.

Based on a Microsoft Engineer, in my case the issue was due to a hardware policy that is no longer in the SCCM DB. As I have started building a new environment and this issue doesn't seem to hinder anything I am going to ignore.
