Hi Everyone,I have installed SCCM2012 R2 on primary partition and on other drive(D) i can see configmgr folders(SMSPKGF$, SMSPKGSIG, SMSSIG$) created. I am left with 50gb hard disk space on D Drive, Please do explain me what are these folders and will the size of these folders gets increased or remains as it is. What is the purpose of the folder SMSPKG which is created on C Drive. I need the details about configmgr folders and server logs files and client logs files and their locations.

The content library is located on root of a drive in a folder called “SCCMContentLib”. Within this folder you can see the PkgLib, DataLib, FileLib folders. When SCCM stores and distributes packages for distribution, it does in a compressed format. This compressed version of a package is the PCK file. These PCK files are stored in the SMSPKG folder.
