Hi,
For some reason access to to SCCM Console stopped working all of a sudden and only users in a particular AD group can access SCCM console 2010. They get the attached error.
Things I’ve tried
1.User can launch the sccm console from the primary server
2.User can launch the sccm console when added to a particular security group ( This is the only group that allows users to launch the console at the moment)
3.I have added Users elevated account directly into SCCM and given him full admin, then added his elevated account directly into local admins on his device. still Does not launch
4.I have created another AD security group, created this and linked to SCCM, added User to this group but still does not launch
5.I have run LODCTR /R on his device as i can see performance counters memory was not found error in SMSAdminUI.log, the user still cannot launch the console.
6.I have removed and re-added the user to SQL Server management studio>security>logins, still does not launch.
any more help be appreciated.
