Hello, I have a WSUS server to manage our Windows 10 clients. I have created several GPO's which all have in common that in Configure automatic updating, I choose option 4, Auto download and schedule the install.
I have been playing around with the GPO settings regarding the Install day and week, but I’m 100% sure that a lot of clients are installing updates before the actual Install day is reached, even though the GPO is being applied (I even checked the registry settings). There is no deadline set of the updates in WSUS.
Can it be that users click massively on Check for Updates and thus are massively bypassing the Install date as imposed by the GPO or is the GPO itself not doing what it should do?
