Please find the detailed situation:

We have deployed a SCCM DP at a remote location.
Site boundary mapped with AD site , AD site contains proper range of IPs covered.
We have kept the site boundary within a boundary group mapped with the single boundary.
We have assigned only that DP to the boundary group.
But , during PXE boot, the client is taking the boot.sdi , from Primary Site DP.
Checked smspxe , smsdpusage log but no error reported in any log.
Checked with the Lan from where the PXE boot is trigged ,
IP address within the same boundary achieved , tracert also reaching to the DP with single hop.
SCCM Ver: SCCM 2012 R2
OS :Windows server 2012 R2.

Long back I had come across this issue. Could you try changing the boundary type from AD site to IP address range ?. Let me know the outcome. Also, ensure the DHCP option 66 is set to IP address of local DP.

Hi,
Thanks for the solution, it has worked sucessfully, However we have only changed option 66 in DHCP. But in our other locations , Option 66 has the MP from which it client captures the WIM file and then the installation is passed to local MP. Can you suggest what has resulted in MP failing to pass the installation to local DP in this site.
Note: We had network device upgrade , but all the device reacheabilities are fine.

Option 66 has the MP from which it client captures the WIM file and then the installation is passed to local MP - Option 66 should be set to server IP / hostname that is basically a server running DP with WDS installed. Can you tell me why are you pointing the clients to pull wim file from MP instead of DP ?./
