Just curious what you guys are seeing out there in terms of removing Classic Teams from your network environments. We have a mix of Windows 10 and 11 devices in our organization (we have around 75 percent of our devices with Windows 11 at this point).
We are currently replacing our Cisco phone system with a Teams-integrated phone system, so we have more of an incentive to get the Classic Teams out of our network.
We originally deployed with the Teams Machine-Wide installer, so I was planning to just do an uninstall push of that installer through SCCM.
A couple of things, though: we are seeing users that still have Desktop icons from Classic Teams remaining after manual uninstalls of the Teams machine-wide installer. I have also seen the Classic Teams app continue to show up when searching from the Taskbar. Also, Classic Teams will remain as a startup app option that has to be manually toggled off.
