PENDING Choose OU during OSD without MDT

With Microsoft killing off MDT, how can i choose which OU to join a computer to during OSD? We have 13 different departments, and i need the computer account to go in the proper OU during OSD. Setting the variable OSDJoinDomainOUName at the Unknown computers collection and having the helpdesk tech's type in the full LDAP path such as (LDAP://OU=MyOu,DC=MyDom,DC=MyCompany,DC=com) just wont work. They need to be able to choose from a list somehow or enter a department name such as Finance, or Court, or HR, etc....

That's a common problem that many are facing after the MDT has been deprecated. Admins who relied on MDT should look to redesign their task sequences. Although there are not many OSD frontend scripts available today, what I can recommend is to check out Jason Sandy's UI++ tool. I haven't tested the working of this tool on my 2409 setup, but I assume it would work.
