Getting CcmRegisterComponentsRollback. In the event of a failed installation, this action rolls back the changes from CcmRegisterComponents.in ccmsetup.log. I have tired uninstalling the client multiple times, even using CCM clean. Client install starts but never finishes. Please help.

I don't see any errors here. From the attached log file I see the client agent has been installed successfully. It also shows the ccmsetup is exiting with return code 0. So i don't see any issues here. Have you verified on the client machine if the agent is installed ?.

After installing the sccm client via command line , in ccmsetup log i am also getting the error MSI: Action 10:41:21: CcmRegisterEndpointRollback. In the event of a failed installation, this action rolls back the changes from CcmRegisterEndpoint. but at the end of the log its shows the ccmsetup is exiting with return code 0. After this i notice in configuration manager only two policy listing in action item.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Wait for some time and you will see other action cycles. Else retry the client installation once again.

For testing, login with admin credentials and execute this command line - CCMSetup.exe /mp:<MP> /logon SMSSITECODE=<SITECODE> FSP=<Server> see how it goes.

Looks like the CM client got stuck in the middle of the installation. Try the step below and let us know,

1. open Command prompt as administrator
2. Run this command - C:\Windows\ccmsetup>ccmsetup.exe /uninstall
3. Check if all files are removed from this folder - C:\Windows\ccmsetup
4. Reboot the device
5. Copy the original source content from this package- \Software Library\Overview\Application Management\Packages\Configuration Manager Client Package to local folder
6. Run the command line - CCMSetup.exe /mp:<MP> /logon SMSSITECODE=<SITECODE> FSP=<Server>
7. Verify the runtime log - c:\Windows\ccmsetup\logs\client.msi.log using CMtrace.exe

still showing device configuration client no status in console

Buenas noches tengo un problema con la instalación, me presenta un error similar indicando un rollback

Acción 20:18:57: CcmTypelibRollback. En caso de fallo de instalación, este evento devuelve las bibliotecas de tipos al estado antes de que se inicie la instalación. ccmsetup

y luego:

CcmRegisterComponentsRollback. En el caso de una instalación fallida, esta acción hace retroceder los cambios de CcmRegisterComponents. ccmsetup
