Yes, that could be possible to install SCCM DP on exisitng dhcp server.
Before to install you need to check and performed below steps
1. Open Server Manager (click start and type Server Manager) click "Add roles and features"
2.. Install Windows Deployment Services feature- accept all the defaults (NOTE: This must be installed on the SCCM Distribution Point)
3. Depending on your setup this step is optional. If you are running the DHCProle on the same server that's hosting SCCM, you need to configure an extra few step 3.1 From Server Manager open the WDS (Windows Deployment Services) console. 3.2 Right click on your Server and select Configure Server - accept the defaults next, next, next etc.
I would recommend to install the DP on a different server. Let DHCP run on its own server, separate from SCCM and WDS. This would keep IIS off of your DHCP server and improve security, while reducing configuration complexity.
Okay. I will try and arrange another machine for installing DP. Can you tell me what are the PC specs required for setting up DP ?. how much hard disk space do I need ?.
