Hi,

I am new to SCCM and when I installed it the first day, everything worked fine. This was the thing that stopped MP to work. I tried to add roles for Application Catalog web service point and Application Catalog website point. I didn't noticed that it required IIS ASP.NET and WCF features. I then added those features after the 2 roles installed. I found that all of sudden, my clients are not communicating to the MP. I then checked the mpcontrol.log and found that I keep getting
Call to HttpSendRequestSync failed for port 80 with status code 500, text: Internal Server Error and
Http test request failed, status code is 500, 'Internal Server Error'. And of course, http://<mp server>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert and http://<mp server>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert can't get the information displayed. Partial log is attached.
I could get the errors cleared out by rebooting the server, but after 5 mins, the errors started to show. Can anyone help what to look for next to get the errors cleared?

Thank you.

Yes, I tried. I also removed Application Catalog web service point and Application Catalog website point just in case. I also saw some posts saying that IIS ASP.NET needs to run in 64-bit mode and applied cscript %SYSTEMDRIVE%\inetpub\adminscripts\adsutil.vbs SET W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32bitAppOnWin64 0. You can let me know if you need to view more logs. Thank you for your quick reply.

I have checked the SQL server role and the SCCM server/computer name is a full admin. I think the issue is more related to the IIS part. I already did a reinstallation and even the whole SCCM.

In that case I hope you are installing prerequisites correctly. If you have reinstalled the whole SCCM then I suspect it has to do with either prerequisites or you are doing something wrong while setting it up.

Hi Prajwal, I think my IIS was corrupted. I ended using a new server image and got it working fine. Thank you for your helps.
